Our sustainability

Over Haddon Village Hall is supplied with electricity produced by the photovoltaic panel array taking up the majority of the area on its south facing roof. This feature has a capacity of 7.8kwh and is linked into the Feed in Tariff Scheme providing an income for the next 25 years.

Heating for the hall is provided via an air source heat pump system, linked to under floor heating, which has the capacity to operate at temperatures down to -20C. The air source heat pump system also provides heat for the hot water to sinks in the kitchen and toilets.

Over Haddon has no mains gas supply.
